Waterfalls are happiest falling a relatively short distance (less than a meter) and they need help on the sides to keep the side pads from tipping out. Make sure you flip the whole thing over and also run a strip of tape along the bottom when you're done. You can make as wide or as tall a waterfall as you'd like. Lay down more tape, more pads, just as you see in the video. Again, make sure all the zigzags go side to side so that it'll flow properly. Either way, take the bottom off of the next pads so they'll stick when you set them on top of the first row. If you want, you can then put some glue on top, which will help your waterfall last. Run a strip of tape across the top to attach the pads to each other. The first step is to lay down the first row of pads side by side, with all the zigzags going side to side. Finally, you'll need to use your hands, some boxes, or, as you see in the how-to video, some coffee mugs, to block the sides of the waterfall and keep it flowing smoothly. Here are the key ingredients: a bunch of zigzag pads, some tape, and, if you want to be able to use your waterfall over and over again, some glue. So how do you make a big waterfall? Check out this video to learn how. The basic effect is simple: a single zigzag pad of sticky notes (the kind made for pop-up dispensers) can cascade like a waterfall.
